Có tới 80% thanh thiếu niên Việt Nam bị mụn trứng cá. Mụn thường tái phát liên tục và di chứng của nó là các vết sẹo, vết thâm trên mặt sẽ đeo đuổi người bệnh đến suốt đời.
Đây được coi là hiện tượng viêm nang lông tuyến bã. Trong nang lông, tích tụ chất bã nhờn do tuyến bã bài tiết chưa được thải ra ngoài (do miệng nang lông bị tắc nghẽn hoặc tuyến bã nhờn hoạt động quá nhiều) sẽ tích tụ trong lỗ chân lông tạo thành nhân mụn. Thêm vào đó là tác động của các vi khuẩn như: P.acnes có sẵn trong nang lông tuyến bã tăng sinh, các tụ cầu, P.ovale bội nhiễm từ ngoài gây nên mụn mủ, mụn bọc.
Mụn trứng cá hình thành do các chất tiết, chất bã tích tụ tại lỗ chân lông và không được bài tiết kịp thời. Tình trạng mụn trứng cá trở nên nặng hơn khi nhiễm vi khuẩn P.acnes và kèm theo bội nhiễm tụ cầu, liên cầu,… Do vậy, mụn trứng cá có thể biểu hiện rất đa dạng: mụn đầu trắng, đầu đen, mụn bọc, mụn mủ,… Mụn trứng cá thường gặp ở độ tuổi 11-30, đặc biệt hay gặp ở độ tuổi dậy thì. Nguyên nhân gây mụn trứng cá có thể do biến động hoóc môn nội tiết, tăng tiết sản xuất bã nhờn hoặc do vệ sinh không đúng cách. Một số yếu tố góp phần làm cho bệnh trứng cá nặng lên, bao gồm: yếu tố thần kinh (lo âu, stress, mất ngủ,…), rối loạn tiêu hóa (táo bón, tiêu chảy), ăn đồ cay nóng, uống nhiều rượu bia, sử dụng một số thuốc chứa corticoid,…
Vì thế muốn đảm bảo mụn trứng cá không bị tái phát lại thì cần thực hiện các yêu cầu sau:

Thay vì ăn những loại đồ ăn này, bạn nên kết thân với các loại rau xanh, hoa quả tươi và uống đủ 2 – 2.5 lít nước/ ngày, sẽ tốt cho sức khỏe cũng như mang lại làn da vẻ mịn màng và tươi sáng hơn.

Tránh stress
Ngoài ra, nếu muốn nhanh chóng hết mụn hoặc để mụn không xuất hiện, thì bạn cần ngủ sớm, ngủ đủ giấc và luôn giữ tinh thần thoải mái, vui tươi. Do thức khuya và stress thường xuyên khiến hormone trong cơ thể bị rối loạn, làm tăng lượng dầu tiết ra.
Rửa mặt bằng sữa rửa mặt
Da mặt bẩn do nhiều bã nhờn và bụi bẩn là nguyên nhân hàng đầu gây nên mụn, vì vậy rửa mặt mỗi ngày 2 -3 lần là cách ngăn ngừa mụn trong mùa nắng tại nhà mà bạn nhất định phải ghi nhớ, để da luôn sạch sẽ. Chất bẩn trên da không thể loại bỏ hoàn toàn khi chỉ rửa với nước lạnh, do đó bạn hãy dùng một loại sữa rửa mặt dành cho da nhờn. Chú ý khi rửa mặt cần thực hiện các động tác nhẹ nhàng, trong thời gian 3 -5 phút là đủ.
Chống nắng
Khi ra đường vào ban ngày, hãy sử dụng kem chống nắng có chỉ số SPF 30 trở lên, loại không chứa dầu và che chắn cẩn thận bằng khẩu trang, mũ đã được làm sạch. Việc làm này vừa giúp bảo vệ da khỏi tác hại xấu của ánh nắng mặt trời, vừa ngăn ngừa bụi bẩn xâm nhập.
Tẩy tế bào chết
Mỗi tuần 1 – 2 lần bạn nên tẩy tế bào chết cho da, nhằm loại bỏ hết các tế bào da sần sùi già nua cùng bã nhờn tích tụ lâu năm, giúp lỗ chân lông thông thoáng, không cho vi khuẩn có cơ hội hoạt động, từ đó ngăn ngừa mụn mới hình thành và cải thiện tình trạng mụn cũ. Bạn có thể tẩy tế bào chết dễ dàng bằng kem tẩy tế bào chết dành cho da mặt, hoặc dùng hỗn hợp đường và chanh.
